The 3 bedrooms and 2 children's rooms of the Family Lodge Maximilian in Hintertux exude a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Just fade out your everydays life and spend your time with your loving people. Up to 10 persons can comfortably find accommodation in the holiday house de luxe. Wake up in the morning with a fantastic view to the Hintertux Glacier and the gentle sound of the creek. Especially in our fast-moving times it is more and more important to take time for yourself. Baby and infant equipment as baby cot, baby-phone, baby-bath tub, water heater and bottle warmer can be provided free of charge for the entire stay in Hintertux. In the summer the Family Lodge Maximilian is the starting point for wonderful hikes. In winter, you can ski directly to the front door of your accommodation.

Our hotel is situated in the Tuxertal, the far end of the Zillertal, a beautiful valley 1.500 meters above sea level. We are just 150 meters away from the station of the Zillertal Gletscherbahn - so to speak the gate to boundless ski pleasure. The Tuxertal is a tributary valley at the end of the Zillertal, about 50 km from the motorway exit "Wiesing-Zillertal". Because of its altitude, our ski area is especially snow-reliable. You will find slopes between 1.300 and 3.250 meters above sea level..

Getting there by car

Inntal motorway (A12) - Exit Wiesing-Zillertal, Main road (B169) to Mayrhofen, turn right direction Hintertux (from motorway exit Zillertal to Hintertux about 50 km). The Tuxer country road between Mayrhofen and Hintertux is well accessible the whole year through. In case of snow or ice snow chains are obligatory! Weight limit for the car is 16 tons, max. head room 4,2 meters.
